Nominations have opened for the Petplan Veterinary Awards – now in their 18th year.
The awards recognise members of the veterinary profession who have gone ‘above and beyond’ in their daily roles. Petplan is encouraging veterinary staff and pet owners alike to recognise the hard work of those who have shown dedication in their work caring for the wellbeing of the UK’s pets.
James Barnes, head of sales and partnerships at Petplan, said: “We receive daily feedback from our customers praising the exceptional care veterinary staff have provided for their beloved pets and the Veterinary Awards are a fantastic opportunity for both owners and Petplan to recognise the hard work and dedication of veterinary staff and say thank you.”
Last year Petplan received more than 21,000 nominations, with award categories including: Practice of the Year, Vet of the Year, Vet Nurse of the Year, Practice Manager of the Year and Practice Support Staff of the Year.
The closing is January 13 and the winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on April 6.
